WHAT IS A PALLET?
Pallets are the most important part of the outer packaging and are made of wood, plastic, metal or a combination of these materials so that packaged products can be easily transported by forklift or pallet truck.
Pallets, which are usually made of wood, are joined with special ribbed nails to be more durable. In the increasing pallet circulation with foreign trade, pallets are cleaned of pests by fumigation or heat treatment to prevent harmful insects and pests from reaching another country and harming the plant health of that country. Strict international rules have been introduced on this subject.
